Oak trees, being the most productive & popular species of trees produces both honeydew & floral honey due to the abundance of nectar in spring & availability of honeydew throughout the year. The color of black forest honey ranges from dark to very dark with a medium, woody & warm intensity. It is less aromatic as compared to other types of honey and offers medium sweetness with weak acidity.
