Ingredients:
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Zest of 2 lemons
- ½ cup buttermilk
- ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
For the Filling:
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ½ cup honey
- ½ cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
For the Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon honey
Instructions:
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan.

In a medium bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream butter and granulated sugar.

Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract and lemon zest.

Gradually add flour mixture, alternating with buttermilk and lemon juice. Do not overmix.

In a separate bowl, combine melted butter, honey, brown sugar, and cinnamon for the filling.

Pour half of the cake batter into the pan, then drizzle half of the filling. Repeat with remaining batter and filling.

Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Whisk powdered sugar, lemon juice, and honey to make the glaze.

Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake.
