Clementine & Honey Couscous Recipe (February 22, 2023)
Couscous is a popular North African dish consisting of steamed semolina or crushed steamed wheat, served with vegetables, meat, fruit, or yogurt. This is a perfect breakfast dish and can be altered as per taste. We have brought you a quick recipe for this delicious taste that is rich in taste & high in nutrients too. Let’s get started -
Required Ingredients -

Pistachio or other nuts - 100 Gm

Couscous - 300 Gm

Clementines - 8

Ground Cinnamon - ¼ Tsp

Butter - 1 Tsp

Geohoney - 2 Tsp

Orange Flower Water - 1 Tsp (Optional)

Fresh or Frozen Raspberries - 300 Gm

Greek-style Yogurt - 500 Gm (For Serving)
Directions -

Preheat the oven to 180C. Take a baking sheet and spread the nuts over a baking sheet and toast them for about 5-8 mins until they turn pale golden.

Take a large bowl and put the couscous and cinnamon into it.

Take a pan, grate the zest from 2 clementines, and squeeze their juice.

Next, add the honey, butter, and 200ml water and cook on medium flame until it boils. Pour this mixture over the couscous and let it absorb for 10 mins by covering it with cling film.

Take a serrated knife, peel, and make thin slices of the remaining clementines. Sprinkle the clementines with the orange flower water if you like.

Chop the nuts roughly and fluff up the couscous with a fork. Now mix the couscous with most of the nuts.

The dish is ready to eat now. Serve the couscous in bowls, topped with raspberries and clementines and raspberries.
