Black forest honey commonly known as tree honey or honeydew honey is basically derived from the saps of oak leaves and then filtered and enriched. Oak trees, being the most productive & popular species of trees produces both honeydew & floral honey due to the abundance of nectar in spring & availability of honeydew throughout the year.
The color of black forest honey ranges from dark to very dark brown with a medium, woody & warm intensity. It is less aromatic as compared to other types of honey and offers medium sweetness with weak acidity. Honey produced from bees feeding on honeydew has more significant properties that makes it a healthy substance to include in daily diet.
